A Woke Game

I'm tired, I'm stressed, and I feel miserable at the moment. This was a rough thing to develop and I feel like at the moment it just wasn't worth the effort.

What I did was that I converted 3D models into 2D models to create a style reminiscent of what was done in the 90s. I also incorporated themes of gender identity into the visual novel, and featured one of my best NSFW scenes hidden in a fun way that I think most players never saw.

I tried to make this game a bit woke because, honestly, I'm a bisexual man and I had boyfriends break up with me or potential boyfriends not want to see me after seeing my projects because it's apparently expected that gay men should be 'woke' to some degree. So, for the sake of my love life and because I got tired of being lectured over my content I was like "Fine, I'll make a woke thing."

I guess the problem is that making a woke game appeals to no one. People say they want woke stuff, but I think that just means that they want to go to gay events (like the queer film festival in Vancouver) and buy LGBT+ books to virtue-signal, it doesn't mean that they want to support independent visual novel creators like me. 

I dunno, prove me wrong, woke influencers, and signal-boost this thing. It features a trans vampire, a bisexual dragon, and a lesbian werewolf. Are those not things that appeal to woke audiences? Those are certainly things that I wanted to see back when I was in college in my games.

Oh, and, Sweet Baby Inc blocked me on X for sending a link to this visual novel. Despite what they say, they clearly aren't actually interested in promoting or playing woke games, I think, they just want to earn money, which is fine. I'd like to earn some money with my visual novels after working on them for years... I dunno, if you're a fan of mine, would you mind sending me a dollar or two, if for no reason than to cheer me up with a coffee?
